Hi all
An update. Last month we had a raging Storm Dennis, now we have a Covid - 19 virus threatening the globe!! Sorry for the delay with our posts, for us at incQbait, its been a little weird with all the current state of affairs, however the lads did manage to get out in Feb and a last one last week before the official UK lockdown.
Firstly Dave, came down to darkest kent in February and did two days at the mighty Elphicks complex. I met up with him for, and did a day session. I think we chose the wrong week as the temperature just dropped and the wind just howled. Unfortunately despite getting the deeper out to find the carp, they were holed up somewhere and the session was a blank.
Our man Josh as always did a grand job of saving a lost fish and recuperated his session with a really nice common, weighing in at 20lb 9oz. Caught with our now what seems to be the evergreen LIVE X bait, thats working in all weather conditions now. We are very proud of that bait.
And shortly after Craig 'B.A Baracus' Grant managed to get out in his large van and get a nice middling 28lb common too, a new personal best again for him in less than a year on the team. So good stuff there for them.
And lastly Scott and Josh did a quick session before the total lockdown, having some fun and catching four 'pasties' between them, biggest being 10lb. Hats off to all the fellahs for their efforts.
Hopefully, some of the stupid English public will decide to pull its head out of its arse and realise the severity of the virus, stay in doors and do the minimum to avoid any going out and spreading it, then we can all get the ball rolling and start buying equipment and more bait ingredients and keep the worlds ticking over again.
Stay safe everyone reading this blog....and dont eat strange foods from strange market stalls!!
best to all
Jay, Scott, Josh, Dave, Craig and the team.
