Raiders of the lost Carp

Hi All

so...here we are end of May, nearly June...its been a weird time for all I'm sure. I hope all you carpers, your families and friends are keeping spirits high, staying healthy and not getting too demoralised  because of the mad rush that is currently seeing lakes full up and not able to fish since the recent lock down rules have lightened up a little. The upside is it will take time as there's alot of pent up people wanting to go fishing. Myself included in that equation.

Raiders....

Raiders of the Lost Carp is the title of this post, for good reason, the weeks of no fishing have resulted essentially in lost fish for most us unable to go. However....

Our own Josh Mayes has managed to get out with permission on certain lakes. He has also been lucky to join a new water, Scott has also managed a couple of trips too, leaving myself, Dave and 'B.A.' (aka Craig) wanting. Still its almost spawning time if not already and some lakes will be unfishable as I write. Myself am planning to fish toward the end of Summer when I am hoping things will have really eased and some proper normality is restored, not this current trend of bullshit called  'the new normality'. We shall see.

So where are we? Well basically its been difficult to obtain some ingredients for incQbait but we got there finally and worked a way around it, and our usual suppliers have been great as ever in getting certain things to us, I cant thank them enough considering the state of affairs.

As said Scott and Josh have been out, though Josh more so, the lucky bugger :) And boy, has he been smashing it up. his go to bait has been our super sweet Live-X and recently our Kryllworm, and as always topping his rigs with a 12mm V-Crab pop up with great effect. Well done to him. And here is the proof of his captures as always along with one from Scott.

Please enjoy

best to all
Jay (incQbait Gaffer)
