Turning points and Turds

Hi all, me again

so two posts in one day.

We turned a corner on Wednesday night with a new bait, and in my mind since creating IncQbait, have now crossed the 30lb barrier in terms of capturing a carp. Despite previous team members who were vacated to have claimed over 30 I can now say we have officially as the team is solid and I can rely on them without a doubt. Theres no B/S, no posers and no snobbery like we can get on the bankside, just passionate and hardworking anglers. Josh was once again on the bank on Wednesday evening for 4 hours, from 6pm to 10pm, the golden hours and was rewarded with a 31.04 common known as Pea Head. Wonderful Angling, wqell Done Sir.

Now a rant of disgust from me. I'm not usually one to react to acts of stupidity online but this one one got my goat. Its been bought to my attention that our very own Josh Mayes, has been the victim of stupidity,  jealousy and accusations of poaching over the capture of a 31lb 4oz Common Carp known as 'Pea Head' from a lake he recently joined and fished for the first time.

I'd like to say, what is wrong with people, its the capture of a fish, yes a fish! Its supposed to bring joy and pleasure to the angler for christs sake. Its not a failure of paying bills or murdering someone, what is the thought process here.  The last part of the previous paragraph outlines first and foremost that joining or becoming a member of a lake IS NOT poaching.

As the man in charge here at IncQbait, I will defend this company that is being built from the ground up and also just as importantly its team members such as Josh, who is one of the most prolific fishermen on the team. His skills and passions for the sport are unsurpassed. A key memebr of the team with a nose for the bait, and has helped us tweak and push this bait to the point that nearly every session results in a team member catching a fish or two. But to abuse a man by by keying his car and spreading what I call 'bullshit'  for capturing a 'big girl' at a lake on first attempt outlines the type of people or persons out there who clearly dont appreciate or know what it feels like to pull something off like that. Just be happy for the guy, be happy he suceeded, and be happy he was able to show you what treasures are in the lake should you be lucky enough to fish it.

'Little men' who key peoples cars or spread abuse will not stop this company moving forward even to the point when the bait is available to the average angler to buy once we are ready to make that happen. The irony being that the sad little man will want some too.

To those wanting to make fellow anglers lives a misery, I suggest you target the fish and not target those who are successful, you will lose everytime. Also are you the ones poaching, you know you need a  rod license to fish?

The police have been notified and the bailiff will be in due course this week.

Anyways, hats off to Josh, for an awsome capture.

Here he is with Pea head, all 31lb and 4oz of her:
