Update and all that

 Hey All

A brief update. Firstly, I hope everyone is getting the current climate/crisis of covid. It's becoming less and less but we still have to stick to the rules. I think realistically, the middle of next year will be a turning point more toward our lives that we know. Be patient, we'll get there.

Fishing wise though, yeah, we seem to be doing okay, We have two new team members, Chris Shenton and Sam Butler. Sam being the more experienced of the two has already caught a couple of good fish, going out as well with Josh before work, and one for Chris so far. Both have had their bait delivered in the last few weeks so now its down to them to test the goods and hopefully catch a few more fish as we enter the Autumn month of September in a couple of weeks. Welcome aboard guys! Also the rain man Dave had a session early August, so great to see him back in the fold.

This weekend, Dave, Scott, Josh and Sam did a social. One with mixed events. Firstly, an algae bloom erupted, scuppering many a chance to land fish, then downpours. Despite this, the guys persevered, with Scott landing a 17lb mirror and a personal best Grass Carp over the course of two nights. However Josh was exceedingly unlucky, losing a fish at the net due to a pulled hook. Not the kind of just reward we like for the hard work he puts in that for sure, but, that's angling, we regroup, gather our thoughts and go again.

Myself, the gaffer of IncQbait am busy with some new ideas, but also I'm also readying myself for my autumn through winter assault at Elphicks Fisheries and Coombe Bank lakes. I've also had a couple of small outings at a local lake catching a couple of fun commons, one of them caught on a lake that had blanked  to 4 other carpers for two nights - they were not happy. Causing them to start casting over me.  I turned up and had a look around, cast to showing fish and caught one, because that's what you do right? Well clearly some don't. Their loss, my gain.

Anyway, thats all for now folks, tight lines until next time, and enjoy the pics...
